Opening the rooms to the up ceiling and adding skylights to the flood
interior with sunshine and let in the warmth that was missing in
existing home, create a fresh warm atmosphere inside the house. During
the renovation, lumber framing and insulation were reused where
additional insulation is required, recycled denim was used. Additional
windows and expansion into the backyard to allow a new dialogue with the
outdoor space – a particular concern for customers that allows them to
fully appreciate the existing oak as well as extensive drought-tolerant
landscaping added to the courtyard. Glass doors and large translucent
panels create interior spaces filled with light, reducing dependence on
